When I began letting the creativity in my head meet paper, I started on index cards. Something about the small 3x5 platform didn't intimidate me as much as a canvas or even a large sketchbook. The only media I had ever used to create art was Sharpies, but I found my pieces to be lacking depth...

Don't let intimidation stop you from letting the creativity inside come out. Start small if you need to. Doodle on the corner of your meeting agenda (bosses love that!!) or use index cards as I did. You might surprise yourself!
